After a year into retirement…

Last May, when we returned home following a short stay in China and our six month cycling adventure in New Zealand and Australia, we had expected to stay home for a good while. It is after we finished cleaning up and reviewing our latest trip photos that we started to consider going somewhere in the Fall 2018. As we plan another cycling trip for the Winter 2019, we opted this time for a backpacking trip.

Last year at this time, we were both very anxious awaiting our departure for New Zealand as we did not know what we would be encountering on our cycling adventure. Looking back, we had a very successful and wonderful time down under.

As we turned our travel interest back to Europe, we realized that we had sampled many of the Western European countries, hence we came up with a travel itinerary through parts of Central/Eastern Europe.
