We had planned to travel to South East Asia (SEA) for some time. We had even developed an itinerary for making it an cycling trip but we had to re-adjust our plan following a health road-bump last fall. As a result we decided to develop a trip itinerary around two SEA countries that were not included in our initial cycling itinerary: Philippines and Indonesia. After getting some inspiration from some Lonely Planet travel guide books, we drafted a three-month travel itinerary. Later, we extended our route planning to include a visit to Shanghai to visit family and, if time permits, we would also explore South Korean for a few weeks.

Below is rough itinerary which will keep us moving but should also offer plenty of relaxing time.
