For the past few years, we have always been looking and taking advantage of last minute deals for our March Break. That all changed last year when we waited too long for some of our target destinations (Panama or Cuba- Santa Clara). We ended up going back to Walt Disney World in Florida. That was a disappointment compared to our previous trip there in the fall of 2008. March Break is very busy in WDW.
This year we opted to book our airfare in late fall in order to avoid last year’s experience. We took the first step towards a bicycle vacation in Cuba- starting from Santa Clara by booking our airfare with Air Transat from Montreal.
Every year that goes by seems to remind us how precious family vacation time is – and office work is becoming more and more irrelevant. My older brother retired this past Christmas. We all seem to be thinking of retirement.
Jessica is studying hard in the UK. Victoria is in grade 5 (same in piano). Jenny has taken up yoga on the WII console and exercise board.
